Remains of 16th-century 'vampire' found

Forensic anthropologist Matteo Borrini from the University of Florence is seen in this undated handout photo

An undated handout photo from the University of Florence shows the remains of a female "vampire" from 16th-century Venice. Italian researchers believe they have found the remains of a female "vampire" from 16th-century Venice, buried with a brick in her mouth to prevent her feasting on plague victims. Matteo Borrini, a forensic anthropologist from the University of Florence, said the discovery was the first confirmation of a Medieval belief that vampires were behind the spread of epidemics, such as the Black Death.

Story :
Naked Couple in Holland Village
I was in Holland Village at around 11pm last night, when me and my friends saw two naked people walking towards us near NYDC!One was a tall Caucasian man, and the other a petite woman who looked Japanese. They both had footwear on, and the girl was wearing a slingbag, but other than that, they were completely nude!
They looked really comfortable walking down the street, which led to many curious stares. Interestingly enough, the couple walked towards 7-11, and must have made their way around the entire Holland V, because they eventually appeared again near Wala Wala! They stopped at one of the tables to chat with a group of people and were still naked! Even when a crowd gathered and some people started taking photos, they didn't bother to cover their private parts or run away.Minutes later, they put their clothes back on, and left the area to walk towards 7-11 again.
Quite a few people in the crowd cheered them on, and the girl even waved back haha. Very very unforgettable sight which I took a few photos of. Shall post one censored one here

(Source: Khushwant Singh )
A CROWD cheered as a naked couple strolled down Lorong Mambong in Holland Village last Saturday evening.
Manager Terence Chia, 30, of the Baden Restaurant and Pub, told The Straits Times yesterday that he saw the couple - a Caucasian man and his Japanese-looking companion - taking off their clothes at the staircase leading to a nearby Housing Board block of flats.'Then, clothes in hand, they coolly walked in their flip-flops towards the market,' he said.
A couple treated open air diners to a 15-minute naked parade in Singapore, triggering both embarrassment and applause for a scene almost unheard of in the conservative city-state.Pub manager Terence Chia told the Straits Times newspaper he saw the couple taking off their clothes on Saturday night at a staircase in a block of flats in Holland Village, known for its popular nightspots."Then, clothes in hand, they coolly walked in their flip-flops towards the market," he said, adding when the coupledid a U-turn a sea of spectators was ready and poised with cameras."
There were more than 200 people and everyone was taking pictures," the newspaper on Wednesday quoted Chia as saying."Even women were busy clicking and people were cheering, whistling and applauding like crazy."
Police said the couple, a Caucasian man and an ethnic Chinese woman in their 20s, had been arrested and released on bail.If convicted under Singapore law, they could face a fine of maximum fine of $2000, up to 3 months in jail, or both.
"They looked really comfortable walking down the street, which led to many curious stares," wrote blogger Leonard Tan. "Singapore is getting more and more exciting."
